Full-time Event Coordinator
The Cricket is a family-oriented private club, dedicated to providing first-class athletic programs, facilities and services to our members.

Up to five dining facilities ensure a vibrant leisure and social life to support the diverse athletic and fitness facilities.
The Club requires a hands-on
Event Coordinator that oversees all administrative processes for the department and assists in planning, directing, coordinating, promoting the club's F&B activities and member events Position will work with Event Manger and F&B Director to ensure that all member and guests' expectations are exceeded to enhance their overall enjoyment of the club.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in arranging events for the club's dining facilities, for private banquets, business and social meetings and other memberrelated activities
- Maintains the clubs F&B calendar on NorthStar and enters all BEO information into the Event Manager module
- Supports Event / Banquet Manager in keeping accurate Banquet Event Orders for each event and assists with collecting deposits / billing
- Assists in arranging all event needs, including but not limited to decorations, flowers, linen, rental equipment, staging, entertainment, menu cards, and audiovisual needs for private events, club events, or special dining room requests
- Assists in planning, promoting, and generating enthusiasm and interest for the club's Club Life and dining events
- Present to oversee the greeting and serving of the guests for both private and club events
- Contributes to revenue growth opportunities and ensures timely, accurate invoice processing, banquet billing and arranges for prompt payment for all events
- Serves as liaison between the kitchen, service staff and management
- In absence of Event Manger, Coordinator may be responsible for running foodservice
- Prepares all materials pertaining to and attends weekly banquet meetings including floor plans for all events
- Ensure staff maintain a positive work attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Event Manager and/or Director of Food and Beverage
Job Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience of assisting with event planning and general knowledge of the private club industry's food and beverage operations is preferred but not required
- Post secondary education: College Diploma or University Degree in Event Planning / Management, Hotel Operations, F&B Management is required
- Experience with Microsoft Office, NorthStar or other Event Management program is also preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required
- Must be very detailoriented
- Confident at speaking with members daily via telephone or in person meetings
- Must be flexible to accommodate irregular or extended hours and duties work evenings and holiday
