- Valid proof of enrollment confirmation from the Directory for Nursing students enrolled in approved Alberta nursing programs.
- Completion of a minimum of 100 practicum hours for nursing students, with consideration for those in their 1st year of practical nursing or 2nd year of baccalaureate nursing or psychiatric nursing.
- Adherence to compliance requirements and the ability to validate qualifications.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, patience, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Training in Medication Assistance Program (MAP) and proficient computer skills.
- Sound understanding of safe lifting, transferring techniques, and resident handling using lifts.
- Punctuality and accountability in all duties.
- Completion of Connect Care Training for Continuing Care Facility Living Health Care Aide ILT.
