Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement pricing models that are scalable with repeatable results and optimize revenue generation while considering market dynamics, cost structures, profitability targets, and customer value propositions.
  • Monitor and evaluate industry and market pricing strategies and trends to ensure that Smile's pricing models are supported by datadriven insights and statistical analysis.
  • Regularly review and evaluate pricing model and strategy performance to align with business goals and strategy.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams, to counsel and advise on pricing models and strategies for proposals and prospecting opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Finance & Product teams to develop indepth understanding of the gotomarket strategy for new products, features and services to develop consistent and scalable pricing models for leadership and executive review and approval.
  • Develop and present proposals for pricing model and strategy, with creative solutions to challenges, to various levels of the leadership team including executives, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Smile's inmarket solutions (technical products, features and services) and new products under development.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor pricing strategies and market trends to ensure our offerings remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Developing insights and analysis on the state of current business and advising on direction of process and model changes.
  • Comply with the privacy, security and confidentiality policies.

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in a pricing analyst, Finance, Sales support or equivalent role. Experience in US pricing modeling and strategy and/or healthcare or sales technology experience, preferred.
  • Postsecondary education in Business Commerce, Finance, or Business Management and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience developing and executing CPQ workflows (configure, price, quote) and understand how to develop pricing approaches that support CPQ workflows.
  • An understanding of post closedwon processes and finance terminology (eg. billing, collections, revenue recognition).
  • Ability to maintain a longterm outlook while being revenuefocused when architecting solutions to challenges combined with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, preferred.
