Mortgage Fulfillment Officer

We are looking for a hard-working Mortgage Fulfillment Officer to join our dynamic team.**complete, conditions are fulfilled, and meet targets while adhering to service standards and providing outstanding personalized service.

You will work in a fun, fast-paced professional environment where being detail-oriented with solid time management skills is critical.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure mortgage files are complete and organized
  • Verifying/validating all required mortgage/client information for accuracy
  • Review documentation for compliance with filespecific conditions and company policies and following up with mortgage brokers for outstanding conditions.
  • Instruct lawyers and review legal documentation to ensure loan documentation is following Vault's credit and underwriting regulations.
  • Follow up with Vault Lawyer to obtain confirmation closing conditions are met and the mortgage closed
  • Identify escalation items and work with the Underwriter or Manager to resolve them.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Underwriters, Business Development and Lawyers to ensure smooth and efficient closing of your files.
  • Maintaining knowledge of applicable mortgage underwriting policies, procedures, and products
  • Providing timely and accurate responses to Mortgage Brokers and partners
  • A commitment to providing outstanding personalized service

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and execute in a fastpaced environment
  • Detailorientated, with excellent organizational and followup skills
  • Strong written and oral communicator
  • Personable and professional
  • Successfully adapts to changing situations
  • Energetic works independently within the team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Previous financial service experience/ Real Estate Law is an asset
