Our services include grading design for all types of new commercial and industrial sites along with retrofitting existing sites to accommodate new site development.
Description
The HR/Safety Coordinator will partner with both the HR Manager and HSE Manager by providing administrative support to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, as well as ensuring all internal clients receive a high level of service.
Key
Responsibilities
- Complete onboarding/orientation for new field employees.
- Input all employee data in internal HRIS.
- Send fully onboarded new hires to field leadership for placement.
- Coordinate employee client site safety orientations.
- Book training for new employees.
- Review certificates, tickets, and licenses.
- Follow up and renew expiries.
- Maintain safety manual, update policies as directed.
- Complete monthly office safety inspection.
- Update jobs map in internal project management system.
- Book drug and alcohol testing for employees and new hires.
- Complete inhouse drug and alcohol testing for employees.
- Record incidents in internal project management system as directed.
- Provide safety resources to field employees.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of administrative experience.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postsecondary education in Human Resources or Safety.
- 12 years of experience in a Human Resources or Safety role.
- Desire to pursue CPHR or CRSP is an asset.
