Reports directly to Head of Grid Technologies Services. Effective communication and collaborationwith GIS Factory, local and overseas Project Managers (PMs), Finance and QualityManager is required. You will be expected to take decisive action for pullingtogether a winning bid and negotiating the services contract.

HowYou'll Make an Impact

Collaborate and communicate with Siemens Energy account managers, Business Unit Sales, GIS factory PMs and other Siemens Energy Business Units to identify proper sales and bid strategy and scopes of work.
Lead the proposal and post bid development work scope for GIS projects
Development of GIS installation work scope, ability to interpret general assembly drawings, electrical prints and oneline diagrams as well as factory instructions to define the manpower loading and resources
Managing and instructing contractors and internal teams to perform GIS service projects.
Manage the monthly forecasts for orders and revenue
Provide leadership and building a GIS team responsible for providing installation and maintenance services, including spares.
Follow and/or enforce Siemens Environmental Health & Safety policies
Understanding of customer and industry regulations and standards for installation and maintenance of GIS projects
Perform additional duties as assigned by Head of Grid Technologies Services

What you Bring

Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in GIS installation, maintenance and repair of GIS systems in utility/energy electrical industry
Prior experience in GIS installation, operations, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs
Experience in estimating GIS projects with focus on construction and maintenance services
Technical knowledge and understanding of the Siemens Energy GIS portfolio present and vintage models is an advantage.
Ability to review specs, scopes of work, and drawings
Understanding of business, competitive landscape, legal/regulatory environment, needs/challenges of customers
Strong written and verbal communications
Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally required
Very good time management and analytical skills.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude
EH&S/OSHA training required / will be provided
