    JDRF Electromag Engineering Inc. is a research-intensive product development company located in Mississauga, Ontario. Our mission is to reduce global GHG emissions by creating affordable Smart Lighting for commercial buildings.

    You will have the opportunity to be part of a close-knit and innovative team that works with cutting edge technology including machine learning, edge computing and data fusion.

    We are looking for an exceptional co-op student to join our team in the capacity of an Inside Sales Representative.

    This role will be responsible for the creation of lighting controls designs, quotations, and proposals and responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining customer relationships in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.

    Produce lighting control layout drawings and complete bills of material from construction drawings and specifications.
    Participate in product management planning.
    Disseminate digital marketing material to prospective customers.

    Make outbound correspondence (phone, email, etc.) Manage an accurate and up to date sales pipeline through a CRM tool.

    Work with customers to support inquires on order status, warranty claims, and RMAs.
    Currently enrolled and completing a University Degree in a related field.
    Demonstrated a strong academic performance with GPA of 3 and above.
    Experience with lighting controls and systems is a plus.
    Demonstrated experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
    Experience with BlueBeam or AutoCAD design tools is beneficial.
    Ability to read and understand construction drawings such as electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, lighting or mechanical drawings.
