Position Description

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital in Canada, as well as one of the world's leading research centres in its field.

Our services are delivered to help transform the lives of people affected by mental illness and addictions. Our goal is to tailor treatment to each individual, providing patient-centered, comprehensive, coordinated care.

CAMH is seeking two (2) part-time, contract (12 months) Research Analysts to support the Toronto Adolescent and Youth (TAY) Cohort Study, a 5-year research study supported by the Discovery Fund that will recruit and follow 3,000 youth to determine who is at highest risk of developing psychosis and the relationship between risk and functional outcomes.

Reporting to the Research Manager and working closely with the Study Investigators, the Research Analyst will be primarily responsible for scheduling human participant interviews, recruiting and screening research participants, leading the informed consent process, conducting laboratory/MRI/EEG visits, and administering clinical scales and cognitive testing.

The Research Analyst will also assist with scheduling other procedural visits and will accompany participants to these visits.

The Research Analyst will be responsible for preparing and maintaining participant study records and documentation, data entry and database maintenance, preparing data for presentations and peer-reviewed research papers, and other administrative duties as required.

You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable CAMH policies, as well as all regulatory and legislative requirements.

This position requires evening and weekend shifts and is primarily located at the 1001 Queen Street site, with travel between sites, as required.
