MUSI 214 Chromatic Harmony (January - April 9)

  • Course Description: Partwriting and analysis with an emphasis on chromatic harmony and modulation in the music of the nineteenth century._
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:009:50


The Winter 2024 term runs from January 2 to April 30, 2024, Individual course dates are noted below; please see the academic schedule for additional important dates and deadlines.


Qualifications:


  • MMus or earned doctorate (preferred) in music theory or composition
  • Significant teaching experience as well as a demonstrated ability to deliver this core music theory curriculum at the postsecondary level
Please note that the courses offerings tentative, pending funding and sufficient enrollments.
