Key responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and timely administrative support to the company.
- Greet and welcome visitors and clients.
- Manage and maintain a presentable reception area.
- Help to organize and maintain office common areas.
- Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures.
- Organize travel by booking accommodation and reservation needs as required.
- Perform general administrative support tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining records and calendars.
- Attend and take notes at confidential meetings as needed.
- Support all staff with administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
- Maintain office and lunchroom supply inventory.
- Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment as needed.
- Participate as a key member of the company's social committee.
- Run various offsite office errands.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to Ampco
- 12 years general office experience, including reception.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- Proficient with MS Office (including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
- Must be well organized, able to prioritize workload and have a solution focus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills.
- Access to a vehicle and valid driver's license.
