    Miller is a leader in waste management, providing government and industries with a wide range of services in the provinces of Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba, Miller has 50 years' experience in the waste management sector and operates out of 30 locations.


    Title:
    Sales Admin Associate

    Location:
    Miller Waste Systems - Bloomington Compost
    1351 Bloomington Road, Richmond Hill, Ontario

    Shift:
    This position is 5 days a week, 10 hours a day. Hours may vary depending on workload and organizational requirements. Alternating Saturdays a must

    Pay Rate:
    $19.50 per hour


    Responsibilities:
    In the position of Sales Admin Associate, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


    • Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
    • Providing superior customer service
    • Taking orders, providing quotes, arranging trucking, logistics
    • Resolving customer Enquiries
    • Resolving customer transactions; dispatching orders to loaders
    • Balancing cash reports and distribution of associated paperwork
    • Maintaining an accurate and current customer data base
    • Responsible for ensuring updated and accurate site data records are
    • Readily available
    • Providing back up relief to Office Supervisor and Scale House at various times/locations as required
    • General office duties and special projects as required or assigned

    Requirements:

    • Must possess excellent entrepreneurial, verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in Word and Excel, strong PC based systems knowledge; with excellent keyboarding skills
    • Strong understanding of POS system
    • Previous sales experience preferred
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
    • Previous customer service/sales experience an asset
    • Geographical knowledge of surrounding regions is an asset
    • Excellent organizational skills and outstanding customer service is a key
    • Must be flexible to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
    • Must be fluent in English both verbal and written
