Description

Responsibilities:

Analyze equipment problems and make field corrections, often working independently.
Respond to emergency repairs at customer sites in a calm, efficient, and professional manner.
Interface with customers to supply technical assistance.
Advise customer personnel of proper equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
Complete Legal for Trade certification as a Measurement Canada Accredited Technician (Accreditation provided as part of the training program).
Maintain work area and equipment in an orderly manner.
Write neat and accurate service reports and calibration certificate(s).
Attend company training sessions as requested.

Requirements:

Experience with inspecting, repairing, and maintaining structural, mechanical, electrical, and systems.
Industrial scale repair/calibration experience is considered an asset.
Able to pass a criminal background check and Drug/Alcohol test.
A valid driver's license (Class 3 Driver License Required).
Able to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Able to deal effectively with customers/clients.
This is a handson, inthefield job that requires working in many different types of environments.
Trade license(s) will be considered an asset.
310T or 310S trade license is preferred.
MUST reside in Northern BC or be willing to Relocate.
