We are looking for an Estimator to join our team in this newly created role

You have:

A postsecondary education in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, another relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
A P.Eng. or CET designation is an asset but not required
The ability to read construction drawings (AutoCAD)
The ability to analyze technical data
Excellent numerical and spreadsheet skills with a high degree of accuracy
Strong organizational and able to manage to deadlines
A customer centric focus
Strong communication skills
Intermediate to senior level skills using MS Office Suite

As an Estimator, you will:

Review Sales RFQ sheets and scrutinize tender/RFP packages
Identify relevant RFP technical and commercial data and risks
Develop detailed cost estimates
Manage tender documents, subcontracts, progress certificates, and CCDC contracts
Interact with customers and potential customers regarding current and upcoming work
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Assist with scheduling projects
Participate in the identification and pursuit of prospective projects
Proactively solve problems and address obstacles in projects to ensure client satisfaction
Other duties as assigned to support customer and business needs
