We are looking for an Estimator to join our team in this newly created role

You have:


  • A postsecondary education in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, another relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
  • A P.Eng. or CET designation is an asset but not required
  • The ability to read construction drawings (AutoCAD)
  • The ability to analyze technical data
  • Excellent numerical and spreadsheet skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong organizational and able to manage to deadlines
  • A customer centric focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Intermediate to senior level skills using MS Office Suite

As an Estimator, you will:


  • Review Sales RFQ sheets and scrutinize tender/RFP packages
  • Identify relevant RFP technical and commercial data and risks
  • Develop detailed cost estimates
  • Manage tender documents, subcontracts, progress certificates, and CCDC contracts
  • Interact with customers and potential customers regarding current and upcoming work
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with scheduling projects
  • Participate in the identification and pursuit of prospective projects
  • Proactively solve problems and address obstacles in projects to ensure client satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned to support customer and business needs
