About the Opportunity:

The IM/IT Lead performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Functionally oversees the day-to-day operations for the multi-disciplinary teams.
Oversees project work for the teams responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of initiatives and programs throughout the province.
Coordinates resources, manages timelines and milestones.
Monitors, summarizes and communicates the progress of activities to the appropriate leadership team members.
Ensures that all activities within their responsible area are supported by the NSH IM/IT business plan, established policies/procedures, and in line with service level agreements between NSH, IWK and the department of health.

About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science Information systems or health related field. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and work experience
Minimum of 3 5 years of experience in Clinical Application implementation and previous experience leading teams preferred.
Experience with programs including but not limited to Meditech ADM, B/AR and CWS modules, STAR, Optio and the registration kiosks, would be considered an asset.
Strong technical knowledge related to mobile device management, iPad devices and WIFI networks would be considered an asset.
Project Management and change management certification would be considered an asset
Proficient knowledge of healthcare industry required; familiarity with clinical and administrative hospital functions and departments preferred
Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask to meet tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to execute through effective delegation, motivation and oversight
Experience in data analytics an asset
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal, written communication and influencing skills
Clearly communicates NSH vision, mission and values

Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Work, MS Visio and MS Power-Point
