The IM/IT Lead performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Functionally oversees the day-to-day operations for the multi-disciplinary teams.
- Oversees project work for the teams responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of initiatives and programs throughout the province.
- Coordinates resources, manages timelines and milestones.
- Monitors, summarizes and communicates the progress of activities to the appropriate leadership team members.
- Ensures that all activities within their responsible area are supported by the NSH IM/IT business plan, established policies/procedures, and in line with service level agreements between NSH, IWK and the department of health.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science Information systems or health related field. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 3 5 years of experience in Clinical Application implementation and previous experience leading teams preferred.
- Experience with programs including but not limited to Meditech ADM, B/AR and CWS modules, STAR, Optio and the registration kiosks, would be considered an asset.
- Strong technical knowledge related to mobile device management, iPad devices and WIFI networks would be considered an asset.
- Project Management and change management certification would be considered an asset
- Proficient knowledge of healthcare industry required; familiarity with clinical and administrative hospital functions and departments preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask to meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to execute through effective delegation, motivation and oversight
- Experience in data analytics an asset
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written communication and influencing skills
- Clearly communicates NSH vision, mission and values

- Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Work, MS Visio and MS Power-Point
Hours:
- Longassignment, Fulltime Position; 75 Hours Biweekly
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $48.48 Hourly
