Kontur is growing and is seeking a _
Materials Lab Testing Technician_ to become part of Kontur's team. This position will be based at the main, Port Coquitlam, location. This is an hourly permanent position, with the expectation of full-time hours.

Job Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Routine Laboratory Testing (Marshall and Superpave mixes);
Aggregate, soils and concrete laboratory testing as needed;
Crush control for suppliers in mobile laboratory as needed;
Conducting Laboratory tests according to testing procedures;
Using, cleaning and maintaining various types of equipment;
Ability to travel and work remotely as needed;
Other requested administrative or miscellaneous tasks requested by your supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Must have a valid BC driver's license.
Must have an ability to lift and control weights up to 22 kgs/50 lbs.
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be available for shift work (day/night).
Must be available to travel and work away from the main office/laboratory periodically.
Must be available to work outdoors and in all weather condition, when safe to do so.
Must have at least a Grade 12 Highschool Diploma.
Postsecondary certificates or training an asset.
CCIL Certification is an asset.
Previous TDG Training and experience using a Nuclear Gauge an asset.
Lab experience is an asset.

Hourly wages will be commensurate to experience. This position is also eligible to participate in Kontur's Group Benefits, performance incentives, and Continued Professional Development plans/policies.

Salary:
$20.00-$36.00 per hour
