Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
permanent full-time Audiologist to join our team in
Oshawa, ON. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders.

Duties:

Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, including puretone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry
Conduct specialized tests such as otoacoustic emissions (OAE) and auditory brainstem response (ABR)
Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including fitting and programming hearing aids and other assistive devices
Provide counseling and education to patients regarding their hearing loss, communication strategies, and available treatment options
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
Stay uptodate with advancements in audiology research and technology

Experience:

Master's degree in audiology from an accredited program
1+ year of experience is preferred, however, new grads will be given consideration
Knowledge of audiological assessment techniques and equipment
Proficient in medical terminology related to audiology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
