- Survey of equipment in buildings
- Feasibility of implementing the solution
- Energy saving calculation
- Development of energy efficiency measures linked to HVAC and smart buildings
- Consultant supervision
- Lead preliminary data collection efforts for solution realization.
- Lead or support development.
- Validates the assumptions made when designing the solution.
- Build a detailed development budget and scope.
- Work with the Digital team and external partners to develop a project estimate and scope of work,
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and other communication documents with clients.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, as applicable.
- 5 years or more of experience in the design of digital systems linked to smart buildings and in the control/sales of building systems, energy modeling, construction or facilities management.
- Preferred function-specific licenses or certifications (e.g. professional engineering license for engineering-related roles, CEM, LEED, CMVP, CBCP, etc.)
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
- Work effectively with others
- Act ethically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French and is comfortable working in client-facing situations.
- Strong computer skills, including an understanding of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project,
- Ready to travel to Canada. 5-10 day release every month.
