Duties
:
The Manager, Alumni Relations, is responsible for leading key Alumni initiatives and programs.
This includes providing leadership, guidance, and support to the Alumni Relations team as well as engaged members of the Alumni community.
The role also has primary accountability for the management of the existing Fanshawe College Alumni Engagement programs and the budgets, revenue and expenses associated with these activities.
The Manager, Alumni Relations, leads the development and implementation of the Alumni Data Strategy including collection, analysis and use of alumni information.
Qualifications**- Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Communications, Public Relations or Business- A postgraduate Certificate from a College in a related discipline would be an asset
- Certification in Fundraising Software, Raiser's Edge preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in the advancement field, ideally with a strong understanding of data, fundraising and alumni programming
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- High level of competency with fundraising databases, online engagement platforms and plugin modules
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
