Purpose
Key Areas of Accountability
Key project:
Asset archive
- Collate and accurately caption photo and video assets from across the company, particularly historical archives, for future corporate communication use
- Create an index of the archive to support with more efficient and effective retrieval
- Support the communications team with drafting media materials, including media releases, interview talking points, and other communications products
- Stay current on media and travel industry trends and insights to identify opportunities for the company
Internal Communications
- Work with departments across the business to draft engaging intranet posts, to inform and connect our team members
- Support the development and implementation of internal team engagement events
- Measure and report on internal communication channels and activities
Qualifications
Education/Certifications/Knowledge
- Working towards postsecondary education in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field
Skills
- An understanding of the media landscape, emerging trends, and the roles of earned and owned media
- Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills
- Superior writing and editing skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects from beginning to end
