Description

Purpose

Key Areas of Accountability

Key project:
Asset archive

  • Collate and accurately caption photo and video assets from across the company, particularly historical archives, for future corporate communication use
  • Create an index of the archive to support with more efficient and effective retrieval
Media and Public Relations

  • Support the communications team with drafting media materials, including media releases, interview talking points, and other communications products
  • Stay current on media and travel industry trends and insights to identify opportunities for the company

Internal Communications

  • Work with departments across the business to draft engaging intranet posts, to inform and connect our team members
  • Support the development and implementation of internal team engagement events
  • Measure and report on internal communication channels and activities

Qualifications

Education/Certifications/Knowledge

  • Working towards postsecondary education in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field

Skills

  • An understanding of the media landscape, emerging trends, and the roles of earned and owned media
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills
  • Superior writing and editing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects from beginning to end
