Description

MCM Acoustical focuses on designing and building custom wood panels and ceilings to provide the optimal sound absorption in your space.

Using high quality wood that is micro-perforated or grooved to provide refined acoustical performance tailored to meet any design challenge.

Currently, our Company is searching for a talented and enthusiastic Project Estimator.

Responsibilities:_

Prepares estimates by taking off material quantities based on provided documents

Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.

Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.

Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.

Prepares special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.

Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Prepares start up and close out documentation that includes: warranties, maintenance manuals, a built shop drawing.

Prepare contract documentation to vendors and subcontractors

Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.

Explore documentation in order to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements

Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors

Gaining understanding of the scope and requirements of a project by receiving information from Project Managers.

Requirements:_

Two years of estimating experience in the building products or construction industries.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to give, understand and retain detailed instructions (mandatory)

Have a great attention to details

Strong oral, written and organizational skills

Possess a positive can-do attitude

Self-motivated

Ability to work in a team

9h Shift Monday to Thursday, 8h shift on Friday.
