Description
The ideal person will be responsible for carrying out in an effective and safe manner the following tasks:

  • Identify and solve various problems related to the equipment, such as
    pumps, mills and gearboxes:
  • Be able to switch between morning and evening shifts at short notice
  • Be able, at short notice, to work additional (overtime) hours in emergency situations, such as absence of other maintenance staff
  • Modify some equipment and/or structures in order to correctly solve problems concerning machinery and equipment
  • Be able to read, understand, and produce technical drawings of equipment, pipe systems, etc., as required
  • Demonstrate ability to solve various types of maintenance problems in a creative & practical manner
  • Carry out above work in an expeditious manner
  • Be willing to follow courses in
    electric arc welding as may be deemed necessary by the management & thereafter carry out welding as required in the plant within a specified time period

Qualifications:


  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Proficient in English (both written and verbal communication skills)
  • Experience in electrical systems and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Skilled in welding and fabrication techniques
  • Knowledge of boiler operations and maintenance is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
$27.00-$30.00 per hour
