NOTE:
This is a temporary position ending on or before June 2025 with the possibility of extension.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as a point of contact for incoming inquiries to Assessment Services; provide information to students, schools and program areas related to exam schedules, procedures, etc.
  • Schedule and administer exams
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate procedures, testing standards and security measures
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records and documentation
  • Assist in coordinating assessment schedules with program areas and off campus assessments
  • Assist with bookings for online courses and communicate with instructors regarding online student exam schedules
  • Work directly with students to find suitable solutions to exam conflicts
  • Maintain uptodate database information on available invigilators
  • Aid in sending midterm and final exams to external invigilators and ensure exams are returned to course instructors for grading
  • Assist daily with IELTS processes and procedures
  • General administrative duties such as supplies requisitioning, office equipment maintenance, developing and maintaining student files and records, attending meetings, preparing agendas, and correspondence

Skills & Abilities:


  • Significant knowledge of the related policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Significant knowledge of related administrative theories and principals
  • Knowledge of related software
  • Good understanding of related customer service methods and techniques Good understanding of office equipment

Qualifications:


  • Completion of grade twelve
  • Related postsecondary certificate or diploma, preferably a diploma in Business or Office Management
  • Minimum 3 years' related experience
  • Equivalencies may be considered

Remuneration:
$48, $62,451.48 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Administrative Support V).

  • This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
