    The Role:

Responsibilities:


  • Defining and managing key customer deliverables/schedules and driving cross functional teams
  • Managing horizontally across different Diagnostics IP functional teams
  • Working handinhand with functional teams to plan/align budget, head count, operational efficiencies
  • Participating in the development of project plans and schedules; must be able to develop and improve processes for project tracking and risk mitigation
  • Manage material and technical issues to ensure products can meet their delivery window within quality/timeline targets
  • Supporting Engineering management in planning of project resource needs
  • Supporting Engineering management to drive execution excellence
  • Drive consistency in communication and program management techniques
  • Always be aware of the larger strategic picture and make tactical steps to achieve these goals
  • Multitask amongst multiple highpriority projects
  • Provides regular status updates to management & ensures alignment from key stakeholders

Preferred Experience:


  • Proven Project Management experience in industry
  • PMP certification is a plus, but not required
  • Good presentation and leadership skills; with ability to lead technical discussions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in managing complex, interrelated projects, programs, and functions
  • Team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fast paced multitasking environment

Education:


  • BSEE (or equivalent), MSEE (or equivalent) preferred
