Assembly Technician (Senior) / Level 2 Operator
CMP Group Ltd., a leading provider of Marine Products, Construction, and Industrial solutions is seeking a Senior Assembly Technician to join Delta, British Columbia location/team on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Senior Assembly Technician will be responsible for the build and packaging of various assemblies.
The Senior Assembly Technician will build, and not limited to:CMX/CMR series assemblies, Gear Pumps, Piston Pumps, Linear Drives, and Tilt-Trim Cylinder Assemblies.

Responsibilities
- Follow all safety policies of the company, safe working procedures, emergency procedures and accident and safety reporting procedures.
- Build/assemble and package various parts/assemblies
- Package and label products
- Lifting up to 2040 pounds
- Safely, efficiently, and effectively build, test, package and label assemblies
- Adhere to safety policies, safe working procedures, emergency procedures and accident and safety reporting procedures
- Manage the organization of inventory systems and corresponding cycle counts
- Perform general clean up and maintain, clean, and organize work areas
- Assist in internal or external audits
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
- 23 years hydraulic and or mechanical assembly experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working in a laborintensive environment, standing for most of the day and performing repetitive tasks
- Comfortable lifting up to 2040 pounds
- Ability to follow process and visual aids
- Adaptable, flexible and available to work different shifts (rotational shift
- Day Shift, Afternoon Shift, or Graveyard) based on the needs of the business
- Ability to follow process and visual aids
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to take any additional training/courses as required
- Occupational First Aid Attendant certified or willingness to do so
- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
- Good dexterity
- Available for overtime (Asset)
- Valid Forklift Operators license (Asset)
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift: 6:00am 2:30pm
