RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
This is a research program with a number of lung health-related projects underway in Nunavik.

General Duties


Coordinating & contributing to research activities as follows:

  • Contributing to planning and execution of research activities, including transcription of interviews and support with qualitative analysis,
  • Contributing to development of protocols, questionnaires, informed consent forms, and other study materials,
  • Identifying potential roles for research on intercultural communication within ongoing lung healthrelated projects, and planning their execution including writing proposals and protocols,
  • Communicating with research partners, organizing meetings, summarizing meeting discussions,
  • Literature searches & summary if needed,

Education:
Master's Degree


Work Experience:
With organizations working in Nunavik or Inuit Nunangat


Other requirements:


  • Excellent French and English skills, spoken and written,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
  • Experience in working with Excel, PowerPoint, Word is required,
Additional information


Status:
Temporary, part-time, 14 hours/week


Pay Scale:
Commensurate with education and experience
