We are currently looking for a System Administrator, intermediate level, to join our team

What you can expect in this role:

Reporting to the Team lead, the System Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure used locally and across remote locations.

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

Managing network and IT infrastructure for current and future company sites;
Ensure proper monitoring of computer systems, services and networks among company sites; Provide continuous recommendations to ensure the integrity of infrastructure;
Actively participate in the implementation of global processes and policies;
Support team members in their daytoday activities;
Support the implementation, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance; and in some cases decommissioning of software systems and associated infrastructure;

Here's the profile we're looking for:

College or University degree in Computer Science or IT;
2 or more years of experience in a similar role with an indepth knowledge of Linux servers, Networking and troubleshooting;
A team player with a strong sense of ownership, and an agile mindset;
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken;
Knowledge of VMware, Proxmox, pfSense, Office 365, Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory would be considered an asset.

A few more relevant details:

Travel required between sites within Quebec province;
Work schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional overtime based on project needs;
Hybrid/remote is possible but the role requires often presence on site(s)
Job type: full time
