Part I - Position Purpose

Under the direction of the Manager, the Inside Sales/Social Media Associate will be assigned to various tasks within sales and that assist with the effective operation of the Studio and online sales.

The incumbent will greet clients and assist them in product and services to best fit their wants and needs.

Part II - Position Functions

Answer phones, redirecting calls to appropriate personnel and greet customers.
Record and modify customer information, POS processing, PO's, invoicing and estimates within QuickBooks.
Receive Work Orders, intake forms and input into system and file paper copy according to procedure.
Process online store sales and orders.
Provide information and expertise on company services and in store product lines.
Describe features, technical specifications, and uses of products or services.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
Inventory management and restock shelves.
Scheduling customer studio and shop appointments.
Maintain an organized and clean showroom.
Social Media experience is required to assist in posting and creating content.
Other duties as required.

Part III - Position Specifications

Work Experience Requirements:

2 years' experience working in an order desk setting.

2 years' experience working in customer service.

2 years' Social Media Experience and asset.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma/GED.

Required Skills:

A POSITIVE ATTITUDE is a must
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
Exceptional customer service.
Basic math skills.
Ability to calculate Board Footage is an asset.
Ability to read tape measure is a must.
Knowledge of wood types, terminology, and industry an asset.
Ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and various other social media platforms required.
Comfortable working with MS Excel and computers generally.
Willingness to learn product lines.
Ability to follow workflow processes and policy and procedures.
Health and Safety Oriented.
Knowledge of Quickbooks and Fishbowl are an asset.
