Work Arrangements:
This is a hybrid role.

You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month.

You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.


The Opportunity:
Equitable is looking for a Group Administration Specialist to join our team.

What you will do:


  • Update and validate plan member and plan sponsor information
  • Assist plan members and plan sponsors with account activations
  • Administer pay direct drug cards including problem solving utilizing provider's software
  • Terminate and reinstate plan members, divisions and group contracts to ensure that only eligible claims are paid
  • Provide support to other applicable Group departments by assessing and confirming member eligibility
  • Request medical evidence of insurability when necessary
  • Interpret system audit reports and take corrective action when required
