TRAINING INTERNSHIP in the Project Management Industry for Canadian College/University Students

General Purpose:
Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

The intern will learn best practices in project scope, managing the project team, as well as the resources assigned to the projects.


Responsibilities and tasks may include:

  • Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of projects
  • Track all the ongoing projects in each department of the company
  • Follow up with he appropriate managers on their ongoing projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress on each project
  • Report and escalate to upper management as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Currently enrolled in a College or University program
  • Interest in a role in project management
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask
  • Project planning
  • Problemsolving skills

  • This training is similar to that which is provided in a vocational school
  • This training is for the benefit of you personally, to develop your skills, resume, etc.
  • Your training supervisor will ensure that the activities you work on benefit you while you are being trained

Job Type:
Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 3-6 months


Salary:
$17.50 per hour
