TRAINING INTERNSHIP in the Financial Services Industry for Canadian College/University Students

General Purpose:
Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

The intern will learn best practices in training delivery and implementation, communication skills and basic management tactics from experienced staff.


Responsibilities and tasks may include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of business plans
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing plans
  • Content creation; copywriting; articles; white papers
  • Writing, editing, and sending communications
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations
  • Assisting with preparing and submitting reports, correspondence and information decks.
  • Attending project meetings and providing followup support, including preparing meeting notes, agendas, action lists, reminders, and tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Currently enrolled in a College or University program
  • Interest in finance
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Docs, and a basic computer knowledge
  • Strong communication (verbal and written)

Job Type:
