The Urban Development department at RVA is looking for a Civil Engineering Graduate to join our team and work out of Niagara or Halton office.


Duties:


Your role will involve all facets of land development engineering including preliminary servicing studies, detailed design of servicing, grading, drainage, stormwater management related to site plan and subdivision projects, utility engineering, construction related services and contract administration.


Qualifications:


  • Must possess a B.Eng. from a recognized university level Civil Engineering program.
  • 14 years' engineering firm experience working on land development projects. Professional Engineering year and /or coop placements will be given consideration.
  • Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Working with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is required.
  • Ability to work independently and in an interactive team atmosphere.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with staff, project team members and clients.
