We are currently seeking a highly-skilled and dedicated
Material Handler with Metal Fab Shop Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Performs general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
Examines shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of shipment
Supports other materials functions in various assignments which include receiving, distribution, delivery of various items such as specimens, drugs, medical records, xrays, lab bags, equipment and furniture, etc.
Deliver or route materials to other departments using material handling devices with a responsibility for the timely return of empty transport carts and totes
Process and distributes enduser orders in an accurate and timely manner
Responds to enduser inquiries (telephone, pager, verbal) in a timely and professional manner
Adheres to shipping and receiving policies/procedures
Maintain shipping and receiving area Performs safety inspections as required
Perform tasks in multitemperature environments
Partcipates in counts at the direction of the Supervisor and/or Manager
Communicates all shift/service issues to coworkers,Supervisor and/or Manager
Complete incident reports in relation to health and safety issues or material spills
Assists with other departmental activities as delegated by the Supervisor and/or
Manager All other duties as assigned

Salary:
$17.00-$21.00 per hour
