Responsibilities include:

Assist in developing and executing internal and external communication strategies.
Contribute to media relations efforts and monitor relevant news coverage.
Coordinate and support the planning of engaging events and public relations activities.
Assist with the management of the organization's website and social media platforms;

- create compelling digital content using various tools and technologies.

Participate in meetings with external partners and community organizations; take meeting minutes.
Conduct research on public policy issues to inform organizational initiatives.

Selection Criteria Include:

Currently enrolled in a relevant program (Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, Media Production, etc.).
Must be professional and reliable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Digital and social media savvy with a creative mindset.
Research abilities to gather and analyze information effectively.
Detailoriented with event planning and organizational skills.
Interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
