Responsibilities include:
- Assist in developing and executing internal and external communication strategies.
- Contribute to media relations efforts and monitor relevant news coverage.
- Coordinate and support the planning of engaging events and public relations activities.
- Assist with the management of the organization's website and social media platforms;
- Participate in meetings with external partners and community organizations; take meeting minutes.
- Conduct research on public policy issues to inform organizational initiatives.
Selection Criteria Include:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant program (Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, Media Production, etc.).
- Must be professional and reliable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Digital and social media savvy with a creative mindset.
- Research abilities to gather and analyze information effectively.
- Detailoriented with event planning and organizational skills.
- Interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
