Primary Responsibilities:


The position is part of the Customer Care team and will assist customers interested in our products and be responsible for assisting customers online and over the phone, informing customers of our products and submitting their orders.

Must be fluent in French and English and possess strong communication skills (oral and written) and above average customer service skills are required.

The position will also deal with transportation companies and sales representatives issues / concerns as required regarding orders and products.

Essential Functions:

  • Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food).
  • Responsible for reviewing orders on hold and ensure action has been taken.
  • Logging customer issues/complaints in AS400 and follow up required.
  • Provide service and information to the sales force (i.e. stock status, item details, promotional details, delivery status, etc.).
  • Process of EDI orders.
  • Process of internal sample requests and employee orders.
  • Process customer return / credit requests.
  • Coordinate cancellation and rebill of orders with errors.
  • Handle and track all customer calls / enquiries / complaints.
  • Coordinate product returns with transport companies.
  • Followup on daily regarding unshipped order status.
  • Perform reception break / lunch relief on occasion.
  • Must maintain good attendance, safe work practices and maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
  • Other duties and special projects as requested.

  • Suivi quotidien concernant l'état des commandes non expédiées.
  • Effectuez une pause de réception / une relève de repas à l'occasion.
  • Doit maintenir une bonne assiduité, des pratiques de travail sécuritaires et maintenir des sauvegardes des informations confidentielles de l'entreprise.
  • Autres tâches et projets spéciaux sur demande.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:

  • College level education an asset with a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a customer service / sales administration environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in both English and French.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required. Experience with AS400 and EDI preferred.
  • Excellent customer service oriented attitude with ability to get along with diverse personalities and communicate effectively with customers and all levels of Tree of Life associates. Must be tactful, mature and flexible with good reasoning abilities and sound judgement.
