What You'll Do Adhere to business norms of thorough planning, testing, implementing and documenting changes within either project lifecycles and timelines or normal business growth/change requirements.- Provide advanced expertise in the configuration, design, implementation, documentation, and administration of system servers.- Plan, design and implement system configuration changes according to performance and use before detrimental production performance issues arise.- Formalize and standardize administration procedures used by the IT Operations team.- Provide advanced troubleshooting and administration of enterprise SaaS solutions.- Establish change management processes for tasks performed as part of the system administration role or in operational support functions which impact on the infrastructure environment.- Available to work overtime as required, supporting business operations for the organization, including providing regular weekend on-call support.
What You Bring- Undergraduate degree/diploma and evidence of progressive development in an IT discipline.- 3 to 5 years of related experience preferably in a financial/pension/investment services environment.- Expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Office365, Barracuda firewalls, Dell EMC, Cisco, SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft OS, Linux OS, and MDM solutions.- CCNA, VCP/VCAP, MCITP, MCSA/MCSE certification preferred.- ITIL V3 foundations certificate preferred.- Previous experience with contributing to a business continuity and disaster recovery technical plan.- Ability to produce technical architecture diagrams to represent infrastructure setup and configurations.- Experience managing servers in a TCP/IP environment with demonstrated understanding of basic networking concepts including VPN, firewalls, and load balancers.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.- Strong networking, relationship building and influencing skills.- Ability to co-ordinate team resources on multiple projects.- Experience writing operating system PowerShell scripts.
