Primary Objective of the Position:

Safe and timely processing of Cargo and aircraft loading/offloading within prescribed parameters. This is a fixed-term contract position for 2 months.


Essential Position Functions:


  • Loading/offloading of aircrafts and trucks
  • Operating ground support equipment
  • Repeated and continuous lifting of packages up to 60lbs
  • Sort packages based on customer, airport of destination, and other parameters
  • Communicate piece counts, and package information to Lead Hands, and Supervisors
  • Handle customer packages, and freight with due care and attention
  • Ensure all safety and security protocols are adhered to
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as required
  • Perform tasks associated with Dangerous Goods Handling/Acceptance
  • Meet timesensitive deadlines for freight buildup/breakdown as part of a team dynamic
etc. )

  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Working in and around aircraft daily

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School Graduate or equivalent experience
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a RAIC pass (Transport Canada Security Clearance)
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs repeatedly
  • Ability to work within a "team first" environment, and complete common goals within timesensitive deadlines
  • Excellent punctuality, and attendance habits
  • Ability to learn quickly, and adapt to fastchanging customer requirements
  • Willingness to take direction with a keen interest in further development within the local operation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible to work shift work, weekends and stat holidays
  • Be willing to work outside
