About the role
We're looking for a
BDS Consultant to join our growing
Broker Digital Support Team in Ottawa

As a Consultant on the BDS team, you will work collaboratively with members of the team, plus hold a key advisory role with internal and external stakeholders to develop processes and procedures to support the range of broker network digital initiatives.

What you'll do here:

Develop, plan and conduct training on techniques for selling the organization's digital platforms.
Use data analytics results and/or financial analysis to recommend solutions or new strategies for user growth, acquisition, retention, monetization and engagement across all digital channels.
Act as a partner in defining and exploring digital platforms' needs to understand, rationalize and prioritize requests for new features and functionalities for systems, marketing, distribution and product plan.
Collaborate effectively in supporting business partners with special requests.
Develop processes and procedures to support sales through online channels.
Drive sales performance through online channels and share best practices and insights to advance the organization's digital platform.
Establish and foster strong broker relationships across all digital channels.
Provide operational support to digital distribution (projects and responsibilities of high complexities).
Plan and coordinate projects to improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of digital distribution.

What you bring to the table:

Relevant experience in areas of financial services, insurance or online products or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Curiosity you like to ask questions and have a solutionsoriented mindset.
Creativity you like to think inside and outside of the box and are not afraid to promote a good idea.
Teamwork oriented you are great at working with several different business teams and creating shared vision with jointly owned goals and metrics.
