The Technical Project Manager manages all aspects of business intelligence / data projects, develops project plans, coordinates team activities and accomplishes project objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of all aspects of data, analytics and reporting projects
- Provide project status information on a regular basis by tracking, monitoring and communicating progress against the project plan, requirements, development, quality measures, and milestones
- Create and maintain all documents contained in the project plan, including issues / risks log and project change requests to manage projectlevel scope, schedule and budget
- Contribute to project efficiency by recommending opportunities to streamline project approach and accelerate delivery
- Effective communication of project progress to stakeholders and team members
- Establish and manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure that key decision makers are involved in the appropriate aspects of the project
- Deliver quality project results on time and within budget. Analyze variances and initiate corrective action / continuous improvement
- Enhances business intelligence and technology group reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience with project management methodologies- Proven ability to manage teams and remediate project risks/issues- Effective relationship building skills, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills including the ability to negotiate adequate resources (e.g., schedule, budget, staffing, tools, facilities, etc.).
