What you will do:


Under the direction of the Director, Child Development Centre, the Resource Consultant facilitates effective inclusive environments for children 0-12 years of age with special needs and their families, through assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating individual or group needs; provides guidance, assistance and communicates with parents at a variety of child care settings; is a resource person for the Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Centres Supervisors; prepares and distributes required goal sheets and reports; consults and implements resource personnel's recommendations; supervises and evaluates full time students in the Early Childhood Education - Special Needs post diploma program; maintains ongoing communication with families, college personnel and the community, with respect to the children and the program; and performs other duties as assigned.
