Compensation Analyst (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide salary recommendations for new hires, promotions, and salary adjustments.
  • Develop models for the annual merit cycle, monitor all changes, and ensure data accuracy during the upload into the HRIS.
  • Develop models for the annual Success Sharing program, build tables in the HRIS, and complete the upload.
  • Tabulate semiannual executive bonuses.
  • Administer and complete the semiannual promotion/adjustment cycle which includes reviewing proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines and practices.
  • Audit jobs for content and prepare job descriptions reflecting responsibilities, activities, tasks, and requirements.
  • Maintain Canon Canada's job evaluation structure.

To Succeed, You Will Need:


  • Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
  • Experience in data modelling.
  • Project and process management skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel (including the ability to create pivot tables, formulas, and vlookups).
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • French is considered an asset.
