The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with other fencing team members to install and repair fence, tear out old fence, and pound posts.
  • Interact with the public in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools.
  • Participate in workplace safety initiatives and meetings as required. Report to work fit for duty.

Key Qualifications

  • Enjoy working outdoors and able to perform duties in adverse weather conditions.
  • Safety conscious with a demonstrated high level of attentiveness to your own personal safety as well as that of your coworkers on a construction site around heavy equipment.
  • Must be able to work in physically demanding conditions and perform strenuous physical labour, including heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have a proven ability to interact with others in a calm, courteous and respectful manner.
  • Possess and able to maintain a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license (current abstract required upon hire).

The wage for this position starts at $23.06/hr (includes stat and vacation pay) for the first 8hrs and $31.11/hr for overtime hours.

Normal working hours are 10 hrs/day (8hrs regular, 2hrs OT) from 7am-5:30pm.
