Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support to youth with autism, tailoring assistance to their unique needs and preferences.
Implement strategies outlined in the individualized respite care plan to address specific challenges and enhance positive behaviors.
Plan and engage in age-appropriate, stimulating activities that align with the interests and developmental level of the youth.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and skill development.
Implement behavior management techniques in accordance with best practices and the guidelines provided in the respite care plan.
Document and communicate behavioral observations and interventions to the relevant stakeholders.
Prioritize the safety and well-being of the youth at all times.
Complete accurate and detailed records of daily activities, behavioral observations, and interventions.
Provide regular updates to the supervising team and contribute to progress reports as required.
Positions may vary based in durations and Hours based on seasonal demand
Job Types:
Part-time, Casual
Salary:
$25.00-$28.50 per hour
