The Granite Club is looking for a part-time Fitness Coach who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Fitness Department including providing exceptional front line service to the Membership in Fitness and Group Exercise.

Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of all members in the facility.
- Supervision of the gym floors.
- Promote events, programs, classes and any Fitness, Group Exercise or Specialty initiatives.
- Provide outstanding customer service to our Membership.
- Maintain a clean environment which includes tidying up the gym space to ensure equipment and accessories are in proper locations.
- Providing tips on exercise and technique and ensuring that Members are performing exercises correctly.
- Administer blood pressure readings and recording data.
- Checking all studio spaces to ensure cleanliness as well as recording inventory of accessories and equipment.
- Regular input, feedback and communication with supervisory staff regarding operational enhancement of the Fitness Section.
- Various administrative tasks including monitoring the front desks, taking care of registrations for classes and gym usage for Members using software such as Inmotion and Northstar
- Punctual opening and closing of facility, utilizing appropriate security procedures and departmental standards.
- Consistent presentation of a professional image.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in fitness/health related area of study from a recognized college or university.
- Minimum two years active experience in the fitness industry.
- Experience in Personal Training and Instructing Classes
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR certification.
- Computer proficiency in Google & Microsoft Office
- Experience using Northstar and Inmotion is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Team and service oriented, enthusiastic, cooperative, reliable, creative, wellgroomed.
Work Schedule
- Must be available to work weekends, weekdays and/or holidays, AM and PM
