This role is responsible for providing support in managing the overall sourcing strategy, balancing business needs and risks within an approved sourcing management framework in contract management.

Creating and implementing the processes and policies required for contracts related revenue operations and procurement.

The role is responsible for writing, negotiating, preparing, reviewing, and finalizing contracts and purchase orders on behalf of Smile including the executive team.

The incumbent should understand the requirements, risks, liabilities etc. associated with each contract.


Responsibilities:


  • Owns the contract Management function. Provide guidance and Act as a Subject Matter Expert for senior management in negotiations with respect to business risks and ensuring related governance processes/policies are adhered to and completed prior to final approval.
  • Lead the tendering process by collaborating with the clients.
  • Leading contract negotiations for vendors and clients.
  • Draft the contractual agreements with help legal support, when required.
  • Reviews proposals for cost and pricing information alignment with internal policies.
  • Prepares and administers contracts with specific vendors.
  • Evaluates vendor proposals to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Confirms that terms and delivery dates are accurate.
  • Accountable for the process for negotiating and drafting contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all related laws and regulations.
  • Managing daily, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Support procurement in developing and maintaining vendor relationships according to the company's strategy.

Requirement:


  • Post secondary education in Business, Commerce or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years of sourcing, procurement, and contract management experience in a professional services type environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written), strong persuasion skills and ability to gain consensus with various internal and external parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and fastpaced environment; highly adaptable and able to work independently within a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and understand legal terms, business terms and complex documentation.
  • Experienced change agent with a successful record in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Should be able to own tasks. Collaborate with different teams in Smile. Ability to direct own work. Excellent communication skills. Experience in communicating and collaborating with Clevel and/or legal. Strong service, influence, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, organization, problem solving, analytical and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to proactively anticipate matters and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
