Role Purpose:Participate and support the Product Evaluation Costing Team.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate product data and determine part and tooling costs
Complete Bill of Material tasks as required for the specific BU
Represent PECT at AQP and VA/VE meetings for various programs and provide proposals to improve quality and lower costs.
Solicit data from plants and the corporate technical group to support quotations
Responsible to gather all inputs required to complete a cost estimate
Mentor and support other PECT teammates as required (including new employee training)
Approve costs for ECNs & What Ifs (New Business Quotes must go thru PAA approval)

Qualifications:

Postsecondary degree/diploma in Business or related field of study.
Experience in manufacturing costing
Strong mathematical ability
Excellent knowledge and aptitude for 2D blueprint reading and 3D modelling
