Working closely with the General Manager (GM) to ensure that the strategic vision and corporate goals set are successfully implemented and achieved for Canada.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the primary support and advisor to the GM, ensuring that the operational efficiency, performance and programs for Canada are successfully aligned with the strategic direction set by the GM and the organisation
Work closely with the GM, to support all activities that will allow the management team to successfully identify business needs, develop tactical action plans, measure, and track results in line with the corporate strategy.
On ad hoc basis, will be assigned to support and/or run special projects related to, but not limited to, performance management, talent, organization development & HR, Communication & PR, data analytics, market studies and any other strategic related projects that are in the top management agenda.
Support the GM in prioritizing their agendas, short, medium, and long-term goals and by proposing ways to improve their time management.
Create and strengthen relationships with external key stakeholders including partners, government officials and organizations, media, customers, industry's experts, and agencies.
Build, collect, report and track key management KPIs from all departments
Develop and maintain reporting procedures and implement a governance around KPIs
Prepare and distribute reports related to functions and project activities
Review and adjust key performance KPIs with the GM upon market and business condition changes.
Manage the work of the Performance & Programs Specialist(s) on generating, analyzing, and reporting key performance metrics to the GM.
Program & Project Management
Support the GM in any activities / tasks they may need.
Ensures that all key strategic projects are correctly collected, tracked, and achieved by the various leaders in Canada.
Supports Management meetings coordination by developing outstanding management presentations, managing notes and reports portfolio, and successfully organizing calendars and key dates.
QUALIFICATIONS
- CANDIDATES MUST BE LEGALLY AUTHORISED TO WORK IN CANADA
Education:
Master's degree
PMP, Six Sigma Certification or any other similar certification an asset
Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar role in program management and/or in a management role running a business unit.
Other:
Excellent proficiency in all software of Microsoft Office 365.
Advanced Excel proficiency skills including use of formulas and functions to perform calculations on data.
Outstanding presentation skills (advanced PowerPoint skills needed).
Understand program and project management principles and practices.
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, including ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.
Comfortable with numbers and data analytics principles & tools including data management, statistics models, data visualization.
Understand basic organizational and market research concepts
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
International and multi-cultural experience an asset
