Position Summary:

  • Assist PI in two projects aimed to understand of DNA replication and cell size control in live cells, where we use microscopy and machine learning approaches to analyze images;
  • Contribute to the progress of the projects above working at the computer to analyze data using previously developed analysis scripts;
  • Assist in the analysis of images produced by current group members related to the projects and make recommendations to improve the analysis pipeline and the parameter used during image acquisition;
  • Test the performance of recently developed analysis methods on microscope images related to the projects;
  • Participate in the general maintenance of computer equipment, digital data storage, and analysis protocols related to the projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with computer coding using Python
  • Reliable and dedicated

Experience and education:
Background in Biology and Computer Science

Hourly Salary:
$22.00
