    At Cargill, we focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and financial performance. We are currently looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our North America protein business, where we produce a variety of protein offerings for retail, foodservice, and food ingredient customers.

    • Perform skilled electrical tasks to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment
    • Diagnose malfunctions and perform maintenance tasks
    • Install and calibrate new equipment
    • Work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
    • Operate motorized vehicles for product transportation
    • Adhere to safety rules and regulations
    • Maintain a clean work environment
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Required:

    • Legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada and minimum 18 years old
    • Ability to work at elevated areas and in varied conditions
    • Basic computer skills and English proficiency
    • Willingness to work overtime and different shifts
    • Construction or Industrial Electrician certification

    Preferred:

    • Knowledge of SAP or CMMS
    • Prior production-related experience
    • Skills in various maintenance trades
    • Experience with MRO and MRP
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
    • Knowledge of predictive maintenance and automation control
    • Ability to read blueprints
    • Certifications in welding or other trades
