    Snapshot of the Role:
    The Automation Engineer will work under the guidance of the Automation Manager to facilitate automation activities in the facility. Responsibilities include system backups, disaster recovery, production support, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Act as a culture champion by fostering a positive work environment.
    • Provide support for automation actions aligned with the Automation Strategy Plan.
    • Develop backup and disaster recovery strategies for control and automation systems.
    • Ensure compliance with FSQA, regulatory, and operational requirements.
    • Collaborate with vendors to maintain service contracts and support.
    • Follow control and electrical standards.
    • Troubleshoot and mentor team members on equipment issues.
    • Participate in after-hours support and rotating shifts.
    • Manage network systems and Building Automation.
    Qualifications:
    • Industrial Electrician (A) license preferred with 3-5 years of programming and PLC troubleshooting experience.
    • Expertise in troubleshooting industrial control systems.
    • Experience in instrumentation implementation, integration, and calibration.
    • Strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
    • Data-driven decision-maker with exceptional communication skills.
    • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
    • Experience with SAP & CMMS is beneficial.
