The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for Support Staff.
SUMMARY
The Toronto Blue Jays Organization is seeking hard-working individuals with a dedication to custom service and a passion for enhancing the fan experience from entry to exit of both events and games.
This role requires a willingness to assist fans in a polite and friendly manner, strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to problem solve.
Applicants must be available to work 90% of all non-baseball related events, such as concerts, and 40% (32 games) of regular season Toronto Blue Jays home games, including evenings, weekend and holidays as required.
This is part-time contract position running from January to November, with the possibility of extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and assist all fans with a welcoming, friendly attitude
- Provide directions for fans towards seating areas, their seats or any other desired location such as concessions or merchandise locations.
- Monitor safety of all fans
- Receive and act on any fan complaints with a warm attitude and problemsolving approach
- Fulfill duties of assigned role in accordance to job specific training provided
- Report any incident (major or minor) on an Incident Report Card and submit report to your supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent problem solving and judgment skills
- Strong ability to be assertive and influential
- Excellent oral and written communication skills complimented with a friendly and professional manner
- Basic familiarity with mobile devices and navigating apps
- A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
- Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- You must be able and interested in supporting a team environment
- Available to work a minimum 90% of all nonbaseball events scheduled in a calendar year
- Available to work a minimum of 40% (32 gams), Blue Jays regular season scheduled home games
- Ability to work in a busy, fastpaced environment while standing/walking/climbing stairs inside/outside for 35hour shifts
